[Talkrc] AMA To Ban LiPo Batteries

They just announced it over on RC Universe.

Due to a rash of accidents that resulted in fires from LiPo batteries, 
today in an emergency session, the AMA exec board voted to ban LiPo and 
Li Ion batteries in models.

"We just can't justify the liability exposure that these types of 
batteries create" according to the new AMA President.  They expect the 
ban to be fully in effect within 30 days.  The ban will be implemented 
within the standard safety rules.

Great-- I just bought $1,100 worth of LiPOs for the Shindin.
